Since not all source documents are in an editable format, they need to be processed before translation.  

The entire content is converted to editable format

For documents in formats like Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint the translation can begin immediately. But for scanned, password protected, or DWG AutoCad format documents, it is necessary to use special programs. These programs can read and decipher graphic characters (OCR programs - Optical Character Recognition), or convert and extract text out of the graphic format. After the translation is finished, it will be inserted back into the same original format.
